YOUR COACH

Monique T. LaCour-Henry is the Principal of Career Management Services. She has more than 21 years of consulting, training and development and project management experience, frequently serving as a resource for profit and non-profit firms in diverse industries. During this journey, filled with tons of unknowns and interesting twists, she learned the value of choosing the path that fits your passion, and for her, that path is helping other techies in transition find meaning and fulfillment in their careers. Monique is an experienced career coach and avid job search strategist. She has contributed to nationally-published career development books, one of which appeared on the "Today Show" and frequently serves as a guest speaker on a variety of career- and business-related topics.

Monique also serves as an executive coach and mentor to budding entrepreneurs, serves on welfare-to-work committees for charitable organizations, and served as chairperson for a national literacy program. She is a graduate of the University of Houston. You will often hear her say "YOU direct your career, it shouldn't direct you!"
